So Sherry and I are walking up Broadway from the Snapple Theater Complex with our friend producer Lynn Appelle. (BTW—I got to know Lynn by attending the ASCAP workshop last year. It always pays to network!). And Lynn said, “I haven’t checked your website recently. Are you still blogging every day?” At which point I fell to my knees, lifted my arms and cried out, “Forgive gods of hubris! I never should have said I would blog daily!”
OK, that last part’s not true, but everything else is. I did say I would blog daily, and Lynn did ask about it, and it is a WHOLE LOT HARDER to do than I ever dreamed. There never seems to be enough time to both do things worth blogging about and then actually blog. (Which, come to think of it, is an indictment of a lot of blogs out there. I’m just sayin’.)
But I am back in the saddle, and I will pledge now, to every one of my readers (OK, I don’t think I actually have any readers, but to future, potential readers) I will NOT blog every day.
